The fifth ASEAN Online Sale Day (AOSD) activities to commemorate the 57th ASEAN Day hosted by the AOSD Task Force from 8 to 10 August, connecting consumers to regional e-commerce.
The program has attracted nearly 300 businesses from the 10 ASEAN member countries. Viet Nam leads in terms of the number of participating businesses. During the program period, the number of visitors surged, reaching over 30,000 visits.
In addition to the official communication programs, side events and capacity-building programs are also organized. Notably, Lazada, Shopee, Tiktok, Amazon are poised to launch special promotion sales on this occasion to welcome the regional online shopping event. The event aims to help businesses in Vietnam and other ASEAN countries to popularize the online shopping model during the epidemic time. It will be held annually to promote cross-border e-commerce.
Some notable programs include: Seeking Breakthrough Solutions to Promote Cross-Border E-Commerce in the ASEAN Region (with TikTok), Elevating Selling Experiences and Creating Growth Together with MSMEs (with Shopee), and Go Global: Cross-border E-commerce Opportunities in the US for ASEAN Businesses (with Amazon).
The program has been promoted across more than 40 online newspapers and official television channels, along with thousands of short videos shared on social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and others.
